How We Use AI

AI tools support our research and drafting. Every price figure and index on ScrapBasin comes from a named public source, and a person checks it against that source before it is published.

ScrapBasin is an information service. It does not buy, sell or broker metal, and nothing on the site is investment or trading advice.

Some images on this site are AI-generated illustrations.
